Soy & Ginger Referral Program

1. Who can participate

1.1 This referral program (the “Program”) is open to all customers of Soy & Ginger (“Referrers”) who are resident in New Zealand and have a valid account with us.
1.2 To qualify as a “Referral”, the person you refer must be new to Soy & Ginger (ie, not already having placed an order with us before) and must satisfy the conditions in clause 4.
1.3 Soy & Ginger employees, contractors and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
1.4 By participating, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. How it works

2.1 Each Referrer will receive a unique referral link or code (the “Referral Link/Code”) which they can share with friends or family (the “Referrals”).
2.2 When a Referral uses the Referral Link/Code and completes the qualifying action (see clause 4), the Referrer becomes eligible for the reward (see clause 3).
2.3 The Referral may also receive a reward once they complete their qualifying action (see clause 3).
2.4 The Program period begins on [start date] and ends on [end date] (the “Promotion Period”). Soy & Ginger reserves the right to extend or shorten the Promotion Period at our discretion and without prior notice.

3. Rewards

3.1 For successful referral:
    a) The Referrer will receive [1x $10 Store Credit that they can use on future orders] .
    b) The Referral will receive [$10 off their first order] .
3.2 Rewards are non‑transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash (unless required by law), and may be subject to other ordering conditions (eg, minimum spend).
3.3 Rewards will be credited to the relevant account (Referrer or Referral) within [insert number] business days after the qualifying action is confirmed.
3.4 Soy & Ginger reserves the right to substitute a reward of equivalent value if the stated reward becomes unavailable.

4. Qualifying actions

4.1 For the Referral to trigger the reward:
    a) The Referral must use the Referral Link/Code at their first order.
    b) The Referral must place an order of at least [insert minimum spend, if applicable] and complete payment.
    c) The Referral's account must be in good standing and not subject to refund, cancellation or other issues.
4.2 For the Referrer to receive their reward:
    a) The Referral must meet the conditions in clause 4.1.
    b) The Referral's order must be fulfilled and not canceled, refunded or otherwise voided within [insert time‑frame, eg “30 days”] of purchase.
4.3 The same Referrer may refer multiple Referrals, subject to a cap of [insert limit, eg “10 referrals per calendar month”] , unless otherwise approved by Soy & Ginger in writing.

5. General conditions

5.1 Soy & Ginger reserves the right to refuse, cancel or claw back a reward (including debiting a credited amount) if we believe the referral is fraudulent, duplicate, invalid, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
5.2 Any personal data collected in connection with this Program will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Soy & Ginger does not accept liability for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete referrals or for any failure to receive the Referral Link/Code.
5.4 The Program cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or promotions, unless otherwise specified by Soy & Ginger.
5.5 Soy & Ginger reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or modify the Program or these Terms & Conditions at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
5.6 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

6. Promotional usage

6.1 Referrers must not spam, engage in misleading or deceptive conduct, or violate any laws or regulations when promoting their Referral Link/Code.
6.2 Soy & Ginger reserves the right to disqualify any referrals that arise from non‑permitted marketing activities (including but not limited to unsolicited email, social media spam, fake accounts).
6.3 By participating, Referrers grant Soy & Ginger a non‑exclusive license to use their name, image and testimonial in connection with the Program.

7. Interpretation & other

7.1 “Referrer” means a valid customer of Soy & Ginger who shares a unique Referral Link/Code.
7.2 “Referral” means a person who receives the Referral Link/Code and meets the qualifying conditions set out in clause 4.
7.3 “Reward” means the benefit specified in clause 3.
7.4 Any headings in these Terms & Conditions are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
7.5 If any part of these Terms & Conditions are found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be severed and the remainder will continue in full force and effect.
